You may be aware that ASSETS is sponsored by ACM SIGACCESS, the ACM Special Interest Group on Accessible Computing. Did you also know that SIGACCESS produces a newsletter three times a year?

Well, the SIGACCESS Newsletter is changing...

We will have one more paper-based newsletter and then we will be moving to a web-based system. This means:

• Time to publication for submitted articles will be shortened
• More timely announcements
• The very latest news and developments available
• Up-to-the-minutes thought pieces and research results
• The opportunity for greater reader involvement...

For this to really work, though, we need your help.

• Have you been to a conference recently that addressed the issues of computers and accessibility?
• Has your home country recently introduced new anti-discrimination legislation?
• Do you know of a major disability study of national or international significance?
• Are you organising a conference or a special edition of a journal and want to advertise the call for submissions?
• Or do you have some ground-breaking results you want to share?

If so, then we need your help. We need people like you to write articles for the newsletter. Articles can be on any topic as long as they are broadly related to computers and accessibility. They can be any length, although between 800 and 2000 words would be the most appropriate.
