Best Paper Awards

ACM/SIGACCESS Awards

The following awards will be made at ASSETS 2006:

• SIGACCESS Best Technical Paper Award (chosen from the technical program)
• SIGACCESS Best Student Paper Award (chosen from the technical program)

The selection process for the SIGACCESS Best Technical Paper Award and SIGACCESS Best Student Paper Award will be carried out by members of the program committee based on the technical paper review process. Papers to be considered for the Best Student Paper Award, must have the name of the student as first author and the submission cover letter should verify that the first author is a student.

Awardees will be presented with a certificate from the ACM during the conference.

Additional Awards

Additionally, the following awards will also be made:

• Best Doctoral Candidate Award (chosen from the Doctoral Consortium)
• 1st, 2nd and 3rd paper prizes for graduate and undergraduate entrants in the Student Research Competition

The selection process for the Best Doctoral Candidate Award will be carried out by the members of the Doctoral Consortium Review Committee. The Student Research Competition results will be decided by the panel of competition judges.
